WB Games was seeking a rental exhibit for the 2013 Game Developers Conference. Their goal for their booth in the Career Pavilion was to provide space for 4 Studios: WB Games Montreal, Turbine, Monolith, and Netherrealm. They would need a large lockable storage/server room, portfolio review area and directional signage.
The group wanted to stand out in the crowded career pavilion, with visibility throughout the hall. Recruiters/HR Directors needed a space to do impromptu interviews. The booth would be staffed by up to 10 people. Space was needed for staff, personal effects, storage for swag and an area for breaks and interviews. In addition to a hanging structure, areas for TVs to showcase WB Games sizzle reels were required.
The exhibit features wrap-around portfolio review counters with storage, a storage/server room and a large tension fabric hanging structure with floating ceiling. The entire exhibit sits on a custom grey/black inlay carpet that mirrors the roof. Branding for the individual studios is located on a full size panel on the back of the exhibit, allowing mixed booth staff a free flow of shared traffic around the front perimeter.
The lockable storage room features three 32” LCDs sharing a blu-ray feed. Each corner showcases floor to ceiling game art, each representing one studio. Header graphics are positioned overhead for line direction to students and professionals.
